It is with mixed emotions that we announce the upcoming closure of The Grill on the Alley in Westlake. The Grill will remain open until Saturday, October 29th, after which we will sadly be leaving a community we have enjoyed serving and being a part of for fifteen years.
The Grill on the Alley opened its doors at The Promenade in Westlake Village in 2008 and have offered our hospitality with pride ever since then. We are very thankful and very grateful for the support our esteemed guests have given us over those years. We will miss you, but when your paths take you to Beverly Hills we look forward to seeing you once again at the original Grill on the Alley on Dayton Way near Rodeo Drive.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Caruso, who has been a true partner as our Landlord. We truly wish them well with their new plans for that location as they continue to evolve the mix of choices at The Promenade to offer the best choices in Westlake.
But there is a group of folks to whom we owe our largest thanks: the talented and hard working folks who have worked hard every day to welcome you with open arms and genuine hospitality. It takes real teamwork to achieve that and involves everyone on that team. They range from the back of house people who prepare The Grill’s legendary food, to the bar team who keeps you from getting thirsty, the friendly hosts that greet you when you arrive and say farewell when you depart and the enthusiastic servers who make your experience great throughout your visit. All of them are ably guided by an experienced team of Managers led by The Grill’s fantastic General Manager, Tracy Brister. To all of you, a huge thank you and best wishes in the future.
We began by saying it is with mixed emotions we make this announcement, and it is. We are sad to end this chapter in The Grill’s story, but we are happy to have had the chance to be part of Westlake and get to know many fine friends along the way.
A fond and grateful farewell to all.
